Individual & Family Dementia Coaching
Individual Dementia Coaching is based on your specific needs
and goals, whether you are the person with
a dementia diagnosis
or are caring for someone with dementia. This coaching
addresses the basics of what Alzheimer's Disease and
dementia are: signs and symptoms, types of dementia,
and disease progression.
You will learn: strategies for communicating more effectively
with the person with dementia, how to manage challenging
dementia behaviors, planning for future care needs, how to
manage stress and avoid caregiver burnout, and how to
enhance meaning, purpose, and joy for the person
with dementia and create moments to remember.
Individual and family dementia coaching is often
ongoing and changes as needs and goals change.
